Slow is the
secret.

— The Making —

Four steps. One unbroken ritual.

Each morning begins the same way it has for three generations. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is automated where a hand will do. This is what slowness tastes like.

i. — First Light —

Dawn Milking

Before the sun finds the fields, our herders are already among the cows. The animals know us. They are calm. We milk gently, by hand-assisted methods that respect the rhythm of the herd. A calm cow gives the truest milk — this is the first secret.

ii. — The Standard —

Twelve Tests

Every batch undergoes twelve checks — for purity, density, fat content, freshness, bacterial count and more. If a single test fails, the batch is returned. We have lost batches. We have never lost trust. This is the second secret.

iii. — By Hand —

Glass, Always

Glass — never plastic. Filled by hand. Sealed by hand. Labelled by hand. Slower, yes. More expensive, yes. But glass keeps milk pure in a way no other material can. This is the third secret.

iv. — Before You Wake —

To Your Door

Refrigerated transport, pre-dawn delivery, fresh milk waiting before the kettle boils. Every. Single. Day. Three hundred and sixty-five mornings a year. This is the fourth, and final, secret.

"Anyone can sell milk.
Few can earn the trust of a family every morning, for years."
— The Gujjar Family
